Our detailed examination gives you a precise overview of your current health situation. On request, this includes comprehensive cardiovascular checks, such as an ECG to assess your heart function, or vascular diagnostics to examine veins and arteries (e.g. for varicose veins). The key to your health
The blood test is an essential part of our diagnostics and gives us a deep insight into your health. By specifically analyzing your blood values, we can detect organ disorders at an early stage and uncover important health parameters such as inflammation levels and possible intoxications.
We work together with the ArminLabs laboratory in Augsburg, which specializes in infections, in order to obtain precise and meaningful results that go far beyond those offered by a standard general practitioner’s blood count.

Our blood tests have a modular and transparent structure so that we can jointly select the laboratory analyses that are relevant for you. You use a checklist to tick off your symptoms and send us the completed list. We evaluate it and discuss the results and recommendations with you in detail.
All laboratory services and their costs are listed transparently in your laboratory order and are paid directly by you to the laboratory when the order is placed.

Blood sampling procedure
You have two options for taking blood samples:
You can either come directly to our practice, where we will send the samples for the selected tests to the laboratory, or we will send you a test kit that you can conveniently use at your GP’s.
A courier will collect the samples from your GP or from your home. You will receive the results within a few days.
We take care of everything else and discuss the analysis and interpretation of your blood values with you in detail.

FAQ & costs
Do I need an accurate diagnosis
As we carry out various blood purification procedures, a precise diagnosis/diagnosis is essential in order to find the most suitable procedure for you.
Should I bring someone with me to the hemoperfusion?
Hemoperfusion is an extracorporeal, minimally invasive procedure. These therapies are effective but also strenuous, which is why an accompanying person should always be present.
Do I have to fast before the hemoperfusion?
As anesthesia is not required for hemoperfusion, you do not need to be fasting. Eat as usual and make sure you drink enough fluids.
Is hemoperfusion painful?
As this is a minimally invasive procedure, puncturing with cannulas is required for hemoperfusion. This puncture causes minimal pain in the short term, which can be minimized with local anaesthetic and/or intravenous pain therapy. Hemoperfusion procedures are painless.
What do I need to consider after the treatment?
On the day of the hemoperfusion and the following 3 days, physical exertion should be avoided as far as possible and sufficient fluid intake should be ensured.
How long does the hemoperfusion take?
The duration of treatment is normally 4 hours.
Is follow-up treatment necessary?
The day after the hemoperfusion, we perform a wound check of the puncture site of the Sheldon catheter. No further treatment is normally required after this minimally invasive procedure.
How many hemoperfusions do I need?
Depending on the diagnosis, indication and procedure, between 1 and 5 hemoperfusions are required.
