Apheresis: an effective approach for autoimmune diseases

Apheresis is a modern blood purification procedure in which specific pro-inflammatory substances such as autoantibodies, inflammatory markers and other harmful molecules are removed from the blood. This reduces inflammatory activity in the body and relieves the immune system.

How does apheresis work?
