The creation of VitaSangius - From personal experience to heartfelt mission
Sometimes life leads us down paths that we would never have expected - and yet they give rise to strength, hope and new perspectives.
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer around ten years ago. Our children were still small at the time and our everyday life was suddenly overshadowed by worries and fears. When the cancer spread, chemotherapy was unavoidable. During this difficult time, we learned about a special treatment: hemoperfusion - an innovative blood purification method that can help alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy.
After each chemotherapy treatment, we drove long distances to make this treatment possible for my wife. It was not only stressful, but also very costly. But the result was impressive: she was able to live for seven years with only a few side effects - and a remarkable quality of life. Many people would never have suspected that she was seriously ill.
Driven by the desire to help my wife, I gave up my previous job and founded my own hemoperfusion center about four years ago : VitaSangius. My aim was to make this effective therapy available to other patients - and at a fairer price.
Unfortunately, we had to let my wife go shortly afterwards. A loss that hurt deeply, but also strengthened my drive. Today I continue to run VitaSangius with all my strength. It is my mission to help as many people as possible to make their lives worth living again - despite serious illnesses.
With innovative therapies such as hemoperfusion and individual treatment concepts, we support our patients in gaining new energy, alleviating side effects and regaining a greater sense of self.
