Information on medical activity

Medical treatment on the premises of VitaSangius GmbH is provided by independent physicians working under their own professional responsibility within the framework of private medical practice. The physicians each operate a legally independent private practice, which is organizationally and legally separate from VitaSangius GmbH.

VitaSangius GmbH provides these physicians with the infrastructure and supporting non-medical services (e.g. personnel, equipment, rooms, marketing). The performance, supervision and medical responsibility of all medical services – including diagnostics, information, indication, infusion and blood purification procedures – is the sole responsibility of the respective attending physician.

Medical services are billed by the attending physicians in accordance with the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).
