EECP
EECP is a non-invasive therapeutic concept carried out in clinics and practices. This method uses the effects of so-called “counterpulsation”.
External pneumatic cuffs (on the calves/thighs and buttocks) are triggered to expand and contract in sync with the electrocardiogram. The increased flow rate (share rate) this produces has a direct effect on the inner walls of the vessels and supplies the organs with additional oxygen-rich blood. Through this “passive workout”, collateral blood vessels are activated, and the development of new blood vessels (neoangiogenesis) may occur. Metabolic activation and a positive effect on the lymph system promote the expulsion of metabolic waste products. This treatment is also part of the VitaSangius Therapy.
